Q&A With Australian Ballerina Immy S

I had the opportunity to ask Immy S some questions about her progress as a ballerina. She’s a dedicated dancer who had an incredibly strong passion for ballet. Below are her answers

Q1: When did you start ballet?

When I was two

Q2: Where do you currently dance?

Queensland national ballet school full time

Q3: How long have you been en pointe for?

1-2 years

Q4: What pointe shoes do you currently wear?

Grishko 2007 s Medium strength

Q5: How did you first get involved in ballet?

My mum took me and my sister to ballet class and loved it ever since

Q6: What is your favourite variation?

Blue bird

Q7: What company would you love to work for?

Paris opera ballet school

Q8: Do you have a favourite memory/moment in ballet?

Me and my sister were puppets in Peter Pan when she was 3 and I was 2 and I made this face were I got angry and fell on the ground

Q9: Who are your ballet roles models? Dancers that inspire you.

Svetlana Zakharova and Lucinda Dunn

Q10: Best advice you’ve ever received from a teacher?

Be who you are an no one else

Romantic tutu

Q12: What do you like to do when you aren’t dancing (your free time)?

Going to the beach with friends, shopping and gymnastics
