I recently had the opportunity to ask Claire Hoover some questions about her journey as a ballerina. She is a wonderful dancer, she graces the stage elegantly and with poise. Her dedication to ballet is incredible. Below are her responses.
Q1: When did you start ballet?
I started ballet when I was 6 years old

Barely three years

Q5: How did you first get involved in ballet?
I first took tap to better my soccer skills, and it snowballed from there 🙂

Q8: Do you have a favourite memory/moment in ballet?
Being asked to be a trainee on scholarship this coming year as just a junior in high school! I feel honored. also, being Clara in the nutcracker my very first year at BalletMet (I was previously in competition dance)

Q10: Best advice you’ve ever received from a teacher?
Give 100% and don’t expect perfection.

Q12: What do you like to do when you aren’t dancing (your free time)?
I love to cook and also academics so like finding out a whole bunch of random information and solving rubix cubes
