I recently had the chance to ask Maddy Harpole some questions about her journey as a ballerina. Maddy is an excelletn dancer, she takes to the stage with incredible poise and elegance, her passion and love for ballet is amazing. Below are her responses.

I started ballet at the age of 3 (I’m currently 15) and have been dancing for 12.5 years.

I started dancing on pointe at age 9 and will be starting my 6th year of pointe in the fall.
Q4: What pointe shoes do you currently wear?

Q5: How did you first get involved in ballet?
I was put in ballet at a young age just for the fun of it, but I started to take it more seriously around 10/11 years old.

I love watching Isabella Boylston (of ABT) because you can see her passion on stage as she performs!
Q10: Best advice you’ve ever received from a teacher?
The best advice I have received is to really put yourself out there and to show what you have because people in auditions want to see what your capable of!

Both! Each of them are beautiful in there own way!
Q12: What do you like to do when you aren’t dancing (your free time)?
I love to watch movies, go for walks, and do a bunch of art project like painting or embroidery!
