I recently had the pleasure of asking Emona Georgieva some questions about her incredible journey as a ballerina. Emona is an amazing dancer, she dances with grace, beauty and strength. The joy she radiates while on stage is amazing. Her passion and dedication for ballet is unmatched. Below are her responses.
Q1: When did you start ballet?
I started ballet when I was 4 years old
Q2: Where do you currently dance?
National School of Dance Art – Bulgaria
Q3: How long have you been en pointe for?
Around 5 years

Q5: How did you first get involved in ballet?
I just loved everything! Especially the hard work is my favorite part! It makes me really happy! I love to work hard!

Gissele, Gamzatti, La Esmeralda … 😍

Q8: Do you have a favourite memory/moment in ballet?
I adore to perform the role of Alice in “Alice in Wonderland” is more that magical … it’s always so special for me … I love being Alice! I really love it!
Q9: Who are your ballet roles models? Dancers that inspire you.
Marianela Nuñez
Q10: Best advice you’ve ever received from a teacher?
“Make people look at your emotion, not your feet.”, Just before I left to the stage, I said to myself, “Like a princess,” and then my teacher said, “be a princess.”
Q11: Classical or romantic tutu?
I love both … 💗
Q12: What do you like to do when you aren’t dancing (your free time)?
I don’t have free time, I don’t like time without ballet … when I am somewhere not in ballet hall I am dancing in my mind … just ballet is all I want and need! ❤❤❤
